tattoos

I will be showing you how to make someone look like they have been "inked" I took this idea from a photoshop tutorial I read, but I did make some changes. for that tutorial, go to http://www.worth1000.com/tutorial.asp?sid=161107

Ok, to start out, we need a source pic. I will use this one of Mandy Moore, because it has a lot of skin to "Ink". 

I will also be using the tattoos from the other tutorial, because I like them.  

ok, so we start out by having our mandy moore layer. then open the skull layer on top of the mandy moore one. set transparancy to whatever you like, ans move over the abdomen.

 Now, Use any selection too you like (I use the paths tool, and do "selection form path") and trac out the abdomen on the skull layer.

now take the selection, and copy it onto a new layer

 (Note: I hid the original skull layer)

Now, simply set that new layer to "Multiply"  in the mode pull down menu.

Now do the same in any other part of the image you want to give a tattoo to. This is one I had done earlier using the same technique:

And there you have it. Have fun, and mix things up if you find better and cooler ways of doing things.
